There are basically 44 sounds in Standard American English to consider but these A to Z cards are there as "filler phonics training" and to increase phonological awareness. My clients are adults and I have never had any complaints regarding my cards being "childish". I use whatever I can to help my clients speak, read etc. Good price point.
