I had the same problem. You have to "peel" off all lint, hair, etc. from the velcro. Then scrub it well. That should handle your problem; it did mine. **Q: Can these be used on unsealed porcelain tiles?** A: We do not recommend use of our products on unsealed floors. Use of our products on an unsealed surface may cause staining. And there is ample liquid in each one of these disposable sheets; it actually drips when you pick it up. The only minor design flaw is that it attaches with velcro, which is simple and nice, but since the underside of the mop head is not flat because of the velcro strips, not all of the disposable sheets press firmly against the floor. They pressed firmly along the lines of the velcro, but the center of the disposable sheet hardly gets dirty. They should have added a little raised area in the center of the mop head between the velcro lines so that the disposable sheets are completely flush against the floor, and you're using the entire sheet to clean the floor and not merely the part that's on the velcro.
