The Aerosol Dri-Film product he directed me to, which I ultimately purchased, was a better choice for use on my hurricane shutters, as there was virtually no vertical leakage due to viscosity tolerances and better performance specifications. Also it is more versatile with with respect to the range of applications and materials it may be used for and best of all it sprays on clean and clear, which is particularly important when using for vertical applications such as shutters. Hope this info helps somebody. **Q: can this be used on treadmill walking belts** A: Treadmill belts have a "nubby" texture on the topside, to prevent slipping, so this lubricant would make falls far more likely. If used on the underside of the belt, it would lead to slippage on the drive rollers, not a good thing.
