The Munchkin Sturdy Potty Seat is intended for potty training toddlers. **Q: Does this hook onto the toilet seat? Is it s soft seat or hard seat?** A: It is hard plastic--I would guess polypropylene. We have a standard "round" toilet seat and it fits perfectly (inside measures 10 3/4 x 8 3/8), but I think I have seen reviews that it works for elongated seats as well (there are only 2 standard shapes). It doesn't have clips or hooks--it has an inner rim that settles exactly into the hole, and holds it in place. The outer rim is silicone to prevent shifting. Overall, very sturdy. **Q: It doesn't fit the size. Will it be returned?** A: You can check on Amazon for returns. I don't see why you couldn't return it if it didn't fit.
