Perfect and ready to go on arrival. *by D***. on December 24, 2022* I am a man of many words, so I have to try be brief, because I might go on for many paragraphs.This is an extraordinary set of fireplace tools. The design and construction could not be better. There is nothing cheap about them. They are heavy. Each tool, and the stand are one piece, not put together. Everything is thought out. There is a great respect for space. Using it intelligently and not hogging a ton of it as so many other sets of fireplace tools do. At this price point, you find - 'garish, showy, unattractive.' You find just the opposite with these. I grew up in a home with many fireplaces with great fireplace dogs and tools and screens that were wizened old antiques. And these please me. Because they are discrete. They do the job so well and do not pretend and call attention to themselves. Look at my compact fireplace in the picture. These tools fit it to a tee. There is a very heavy base that stands these tools in place firmly. Buy this set and you will not be disappointed. Medium to medium small to small fireplace. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid, quality tools *by G***R on June 18, 2024* We cheaped out on another combo set with a wood rack and the handles for the tools were toast after a couple of months and a handful of uses. We kept the rack, but opted to buy some good quality tools this time. We were considering going with a hand forged, custom wrought iron set, but the price point (4 digits), was hard to justify. We almost did it, but decided that it was too much for our house. This is an EXCELLENT tool set. Not just for the money, but it's an excellent set overall. There is no assembly, everything is packaged in a tall box. All you have to do is unwrap everything and set it up. The handles are one piece, so it'll be hard to get them to wobble.
