A: No salt, only dried minced onion.

**Q: are these freeze dried or dehydrated?**
A: This Frontier Co-op product is dehydrated through the use of an industrial dehydrator. This is a very large piece of manufacturing equipment specifically designed to gently remove moisture from vegetables through high volume air flow and low humidity. Using these conditions, the onions quickly lose the bulk of their moisture, and the fresh flavor and appearance are maintained.

**Q: Do these onion flakes come in a plastic bag, or a foil bag?**
A: Mine came in foil bag, but seller/packaging may have changed
