**Q: Ca you write on tape**
A: Not really. The outer layer is somewhat slick. Possibly permanent marker may work, but it will likely rub off like a dry erase white board

**Q: Strange, the "more information" link say's there's one roll of tape, that's normally $4, so I'm guessing this is more than one?**
A: it is 1, at least that is what I got

**Q: Is this a flat or matte finish?**
A: Flat

**Q: Does it leave a sticky residue when taken off?**
A: No, it generally does not. If in the hot sun all day it like other tapes might leave a little but it has never left behind residue on the applications that I used it for.
