Lowers pH to exactly where I want it (download the PoolMath app if you haven’t already done so…you won’t regret it!) and also helped me drop my extremely high Total Alkalinity (TA) from over 250 all the way down to 70 within a week. Leaves a nice SPARKLE to my water after I use it, too! 💦✨✨ The granules are so easy to add to the water. I do not pre-mix it. I just walk around the perimeter of my pool and evenly distribute it. Most pH downs have lots of clumps — mine had NONE except a few super tiny ones. Just weigh out the correct amount you need to lower your pH, sprinkle it around the perimeter of your pool, mix it all up with a brush to make sure it gets distributed everywhere, and run your pump for at least a few hours. Be careful when using this stuff (and any other pH decreasing product) around metal equipment, as this product is corrosive if you drop the pH too low. It can cause rust. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this brand of pH decreaser to any pool owner. If you also hate dealing with muriatic acid and prefer dry acid like I do, you must order this product.
