Once isolated from the chassis ground, the Meanwell was almost as quiet as the stock PS. It fit perfectly, runs cool and the radio's lights no longer dim when the mic is keyed. All in all an inexpensive, simple upgrade for a 45 year old radio that otherwise would have been scrapped.
