## Description

Replacement T Pump designed for use with the Python No Spill Clean and Fill Systems. The pump draws water from your faucet to create the suction needed for siphoning. Features an adjustable valve with "drain" and "fill" positions. Must be used in conjunction with a plastic or brass faucet adapter (sold separately).

Review: This product is great everything you expect from Python - I bought my python back in the early 1990s. While typing that made me feel very very old. This product is incredible and has lasted me a long, long time. It would’ve been fine except I dropped it onto my bathroom tile and it cracked. Totally my fault and I’ve done this. I don’t know how many times through the years was surprised that it broke this time. This replacement was very similar. It has all the same features. It it felt a little lighter. And it is just like everything else in life they don’t make them like they used to It works great. It’s still a terrific product however, I noticed that until it breaks in it was a bit harder to get it to go from suction to film mode. I’ve been using it for a couple months and it’s gotten better but at first, I noticed a distinct difference between my while broken and model and this one. I expect this one to last just as long, and hopefully I won’t have to buy this for another couple decades I do water changes weekly. I have over a dozen tanks. I do half on week one and the following week. I do the other half but it’s kind of my weekly ritual to do this so the product has been very well used in the last couple months since I got it, I was reviewing something else and saw that this had not been reviewed so I felt I had a shout out how great this thing is.
Review: Great if you have an aquarium or not. - I use to have a 55 gallon fish tank in my apartment. I would use 5 gallon water containers to transfer water to and from the tank. It was not a product flaw but my own stupidity. I own my own home now and I use the same 25 foot kit for when my power goes out to drain my sump pump. This product is aimed at aquarium owners but it would be useful for anyone who might need to drain water using a public water supply. Pros: * Easy to use. * Can Siphon or Fill water * Has standard garden hose pipe threads and comes with an adapter that will fit most faucets with a unscrewable aerator. It worked with my Moen faucet. * Moves water efficiently. The more water pressure the faster it will move the water. Cons: * Plastic pipe threads are easy to cross-thread.

**Q: WIll this hook up to a standard garden hose?**
A: yes it will just be careful as it is not terribly hard plastic and will strip the threads

**Q: Has anyone measured the vacuum it pulls?  considering it as an alternative to http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/b003obynbo**
A: It depends on the water source and water flow from the tap, I pulled about 5psi on my bar sink, which is the sink I use the most, I connected it to the laundry tub faucet and pulled about 10psi hope this helps

**Q: Can I hook a garden hose to the outlet that flows while you vacuuming the tank?**
A: No, the outlet just flows into the sink.  There is no way to hook a garden hose up to it.  Of course you can hook a garden hose up to the intake on the side to vacuum out the tank.

**Q: can this be used to siphon water out of an above ground pool using 2 hoses?**
A: yes but it will waste a lot of water as it uses the water from the hose to pull water out of pool. so it would be about half and half

This device is perfect for quickly removing water from small fountains or sumps as long as you have a garden hose and access to water. It works very well, has no moving parts, and it's designed to quickly and easily reverse flow (to clear plugs) when/if needed. It's exactly what I was looking for to maintain my small garden fountain.
