### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sound great and built like tanks
*by M***M on June 1, 2016*

As someone that plays the guitar and drums, I am very particular about the headphones I use. So I was skeptical to say the least about how these would perform. Lets just say I was pleasantly surprised.Out of the box IEB6+ do sound a little dull with mids that are too warm and highs that are somewhat underwhelming. However, give these babies a 25 hour burn in and the sound character changes completely. For the price I can confidently say that I have not heard a better pair. Lets be honest, no one expects reference IEMs for this price, but the IEB6's make the music sound 'fun' . Once I found the appropriate ear pieces, isolation was great, and combined with the fact that the mic/inline remote work as advertised, I would say these are the perfect everyday carry headphones. (they go with me everywhere)However, my biggest 'wow' moment came when I accidentally put the headphones through a full cycle of wash. Got these out of the washing machine, put them in front of a fan to dry out and next day viola....they work like nothing every happened. Not even a tiny scratch on them. Just for that alone the IEB6+ get a 5 stars from me, everything else is just icing.Good job first harmonic for putting together a great product.Pros:Sound great after burn inBuilt like tanks and will take a lot of abuseComes with great accessories and carrying pouchGreat value for moneyCons:If I had to find fault, I would say that I wish the inline remote had volume controls.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Didn't find them particularly comfortable in my ears
*by J***N on October 21, 2016*

They're okay. Sound was average to slightly above average. Didn't find them particularly comfortable in my ears, but I don't tend to like the earphones with the removable rubber tips. I find the earphones fall out of my ears.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid micro driver with big stage and comfy fit
*by M***E on December 3, 2015*

I just picked up the First Harmonic IEB6. This is an incredibly tiny micro dynamic driver earphone + a mic. Personally, for me, the mic is pretty much an afterthought. I don't use it and don't intent to. The earphones came in a small, non descript box with a clip, several pairs of tips, and a cool carry bag. Microphonics are low, and with a clip, near non existent. Now the sound is interesting. The sound from these tiny micro drivers is BIG. Mids are forward, and have an edge to them. This was mentioned in early reviews, and I absolutely agree. Guitars have bite, and there's a dry edge that's in your face and has quite a bit of attack. Imaging is very good. Soundstage is wide, with instruments coming from left and right with wide imaging and stage. Now there isn't much depth. It is neither tall not deep, but I think this is adore the correlation with the treble being very smooth. There isn't much extension per se, and the treble is very reminiscent of the Zero Audio Tenore. As a matter of fact, both the punchy bass and highs with the quick roll off and lack of noticeable sibilance, along with the wide stage, the IEB6 is very similar to its Japanese micro driver counterpart. I think where these suffer a little is with instrument separation and micro detail. In essence, the Soundmagic E80, Zero Audio Tenore, and Sennheiser CX3.0, each in a similar price range, have greater resolution, detail, and separation. I think it's because the treble just doesn't extent enough to allow for details buried in the tracks to pop out at you. The bass is punchy, quick, and lends itself to pretty much any genre you throw at it, with presence, weight, and heft belying it's small side. I just wish the highs had a bit more presence, shimmer, and extension. The Tenore, with its similar tonality, still manages better detail presentation and instrument separation, though not by much. Where the IEB6 is superior to the Tenore is in attack and edgy guitar tone. The mids really drive the sound, and heavy metal and hard rock really shine with these little ditties. Overall, for the price being asked, if you're a fan of metal, rock, or hip hop/R&B, due to the strong mid presence and bass, these are a great addition to your collection. Just be aware that these have a very smooth treble presentation, so drums and percussion/strings will be much more subdued. Either way a very decent earphone for under $60. Did I mention just how great guitars sound with these?
