Don't use a scrub or strong acid exfoliator to clean your face before you use it or it will sting. Also, if you've never used this lotion before, try the glytone lotion with less glycolic acid first. Once you are done with that lotion, and it does not sting, you will be ready for this 2nd level. I'm staying at this level because I think the third level will be too strong for my skin. It works differently for different skin types, so that is why it is best (safest) to start with the lowest level first. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Part of my regular routine *by L***A on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on November 11, 2018* I think that glytone makes wonderful products. However I moved away from using their body lotion because it has mineral oil in it. But their facial lotion is superb. It is strong and if you have very sensitive skin he might have to combine this with another night cream or lotion just so that it's not so stinky. It also helps to wait about 15 to 20 minutes after you wash your face and done any toning before applying it. Because I also use a dermaplaner to exfoliate I only use this every other night to maybe every two or three nights. I first learned of Glytone through my dermatologist & could not buy it anywhere, but through him. I use 'step 2' because I had issues of patchy colored skin & brown spots. My dermatologist also used this product himself to decrease the size of his pores & he LOVED it! I like this product and often use it on troubled spots/acne to dry up the blemish quicker. BUT please note, using too much product in a concentrated area will irritate the skin, as well as using it right a hot shower (let your skin cool down before applying the product). If you have really sensitive skin, you probably should use stage 1.
