The sound quality is good - not great. You'll want something with better speakers for that classical music collection, but it's great for being out in the yard or using in the garage or beach. I think it sounds much better than the Jawbone Jambox and it's way cheaper. (Consumer Reports gave Edifiers portable bluetooth speakers a good rating - much higher than Jawbone). I haven't used the SD card to play music yet, but I like the idea it can play music independently.
