Better Than Expected!
I detest buying clothing items online that I have not tried on or have seen in store. Even though I read all posted customer reviews, my needs may not be the same as another reviewer; for positive or negative feedback. When I break my online clothing buying rule, I have no to low expectations; I expect to have to return the item! I was pleasantly/extremely surprised!I brought this item to wear under a Halloween costume that I ordered at the same time as this petticoat. Pretty Sinful, the purchasing company mentions that it will take an additional 3-5days of processing. I was expecting it to be the last item received of my online costume purchase; I ordered this item on October 13th and received it October 19th by postal service! It was estimated to arrive on October 25th; two big thumbs up to the company Pretty Sinful!I haven't tried this under the costume (it has yet to arrive) but I'm keeping it, with or without the costume. It is perfectly full and poofy! I have extremely sensitive skin and am a bit of a fuss-bucket. I find a lot of clothing irritating, restrictive, binding but necessary evils! (Example: any pantyhose, jeans, running pants, shorts in general..) I LOVE this petticoat! It is so frivolously girly and very comfortable. The tulle is not itchy and the elastic waistband is not digging. It can twist inside of the material covering it that makes up its waistband, which was noticeable to me, but an easy fix. Again, I'm a fuss-bucket so a slight twist is probably not going to be an issue for the average buyer.Helpful Feedback:The elastic band looks fairly tiny out of the package but STRETCHES comfortably to warrant the 'one size fits most' sizing. While I am a very fit size 6, I've read feedback from buyers who wear larger sizes than 6, feeling comfortable. On the smaller size spectrum it looks like someone who wears a size 0 can buy & wear this comfortably without it falling off their body.I am 5'8 with long legs (I usually buy 34" inseams)it comfortably covers my booty. With the item on it does tend to SLIGHTLY upshift the length in the rear of the item (EXACTLY as shown in the picture) but nothing that will make you feel exposed or may be noticeable (again, fuss-bucket). I found that you can change the length of the petticoat by raising or lowering the item on your waist to hips. I was able to do this comfortably because of the petticoat's awesome elastic waistband. From my natural waist (considering 'high waist' in fashion/clothing) this petticoat covers my rear quite comfortably! Though it was by no means close to my knees, it did fall in the mini-skirt range; not too short, but still showing a lot of leg. Wearing it placed 'low-rider' style is was a lot longer (an inch from the top of my knees) but I found the up-shift more noticeable. I think this is in by-part of how I am shaped and less to do with the product itself. As I mentioned, the petticoat is full! I have rarely saw petticoats this full at this price point, even around Halloween, when the supply-demand lowers prices. The skirt does taper into its fullness, which is how you want a petticoat to perform. (Otherwise it would be a ballerina tu-tu). For anyone thinking of ordering this, I will attest, that this item looks (still shocked myself) very much, if not identical to the picture. As a general disclaimer: I don't know what another reviewer looks like and how that will change how this petticoat will perform for you. I feel comfortable saying that sizes 0-18 will find it fit/look exactly as pictured! I don't look like this model, but I found this item to fit just as pictured!I haven't received the costume that I brought this petticoat for, but I am so happy with it that I am keeping it even if I don't wear the costume. I highly recommend it! I also like my early delivery from the company, Pretty Sinful. Thumbs up all around!

Perfectly poofy, fits a short frame well!
This petticoat is from the brand Leg Avenue, and is very fluffy. It is made of only slightly scratchy material, not hard tulle, but not extremely soft. The ends may bother your legs a bit but if you wear a slip or leggings underneath it shouldn't be a problem. The petticoat is around 16 inches long and has a stretchy, soft, elastic waistband. The top two layers nearest the waistband are somewhat translucent (so you might have to wear something under it if you're just wearing the petti by itself) while the bottom is gathered for extra volume, as well as a ruffly hem. The petticoat looks good under skirts and dresses, giving them a nice lift that poofs them out nicely. I tried layering this under my longer, hard tulle, 3-layer petticoat that deflates easily, and it provides a very large poof to my dresses that need the extra volume underneath! The petticoat moves with you comfortably and is quite ruffly, but doesn't deflate or get misshapen if you sit on it. Taken right out of the bag it only needed a little fluffing and it was ready to go.If you need this for mega poof under your dress I'd say you could easily layer two. Plus, the price is right! This is much cheaper than many other square dance or 50s style petticoats, even though it's a "cheap" product it works quite well for the price. It was much poofier than I thought. If you need a petti that doesn't deflate after a couple of times out, or for knee-length dresses and skirts or shorter, or just for a halloween costume that needs some lift, this is a great petticoat. If your skirt is much longer than your knees, however, and you're tall (I'm short, around 5'1" and this hits just above my knees) this might be too short on you. I don't recommend this for anyone taller than 5'5"-5'6" if you need a petti that nearly reaches your knees, like a poodle skirt.Overall a wonderful deal for the price!

WONDERFUL Value!
I happen to be a cosplayer/costumer, and I'll be working in a maid cafe over the holidays as part of a convention/charity. I needed a petticoat that will last through dancing and singing performances, convention fun, and rushing around serving food. I had a tight budget so I was prepared to deal with lower quality/less foofiness, but I shouldn't have worried. This petticoat is SUPER FOOFY, with a comfortable elastic waist that truly is "one size" fits all for average sizes (maybe 2/4-12, comfortably?)... The "foof" can be easily played with and pulled apart of smushed together for more or less puff, or to layer with another petticoat. The material is very soft and feels sturdy-- I'm not going to bother with a slip, and neither should you unless your skin is EXTREMELY sensitive. It gives great support to the skirt of my dress, and the length is great. It's short enough to look cute above my knees and show off some leg (I'm 5'4", for reference), but it's still family-friendly. If I wear it waaaaay up high at my waist, sure, I'll have to watch out for bending over. But I've been rehearsing my dance in it and it moves well without flashing anyone. If you don't need a long-term, lifetime investment type buy of a petticoat, definitely buy this. Better quality than you need for a standard Halloween costume, a great option for a cosplayer/costumer, and a suitable budget option for any lolitas out there. If you want something super quality, I suggest the Malco Modes Chiffon petticoat.
