How'd the shears do?** A: Yes. they do a great job with the task of spatchcocking a turkey. **Q: Are they good for arthritic hands?** A: I have significant osteoarthritis and a rather crooked dominant right hand. The shears are sharp enough and strong enough for me to adapt as needed to my hands. These are the only device I've found that allows me to get through a turkey/chicken back/breast bones. These scissors come apart for thorough cleaning...also easily done. I love OXO kitchen shears. **Q: Do these come with a sheath?** A: No, not that I know of, they do however fit nicely in the accessory drawer in my kitchen.
