This one was highly rated and came in great colors. Sadly, I think the design of this is sorely inept.First, the fill cap is too loose and won't close leaving the fill chamber open all the time (see photo). The instructions indicate that water pressure would close it. This is not the case. I don't like the fact that dust, insects, or other debris can always come in contact with the water. Granted this is the water that will be filtered, nonetheless it should function better than this. Lids are meant to keep bugs and debris out; this lid is a failure.On to the pour spout. Pour spouts are engineered for POURING. Well, this pour spout is not good for pouring into anything but wide-mouthed containers. Also, the cap on this cover is way too tight. The water pressure is hindered and made messy by the inability to flow due to the excess pressure of the cap. It seems this one is way too restrictive where the other is way too loose. Also, the electronic day counter for filter replacement should not get wet and it was designed IN the track for water flow.I'm not satisfied with this. It's the type of product that causes the predicament of costly shipping returns and just eating the loss. It's a bit disgusting. I'm waiting to hear back from the seller but I cannot recommend this product.I gave it 2 stars instead of one because it is able to filter water and turn my disgusting tap water into delicious-tasting water. I can't see using it longer than a month or so. It's a waste of money. I am disappointed.I was NOT given a discount on this in return for writing a review. This review is my own and I paid full price for the product. Grr.UPDATE: I was mailed a replacement lid. Thanks. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Feel good buying a family owned product, with delicious water! *by L***Z on Reviewed in the United States on January 26, 2016* After I figured out how to rinse, submerge, shake etc. before first use, I haven't been able to stop drinking this water! Delicious. I read that they're working on the design since the water spills out the back when you tilt (so right overfill).Works much faster than my Brita filter, and tastes much better. My husband has been enjoying as well. Prefer to any of the other water out there!Wish the spout opened a bit more easily while pouring, however I believe over time it will get loose end eventually allow itself to open.I was impressed by the follow-up, as I got a phone call to ensure I received and was enjoying. Since it's a family owned product, it really feels like they want you to enjoy the health benefits of the filter, and truly care. Great feeling, since there rarely is any follow-up from anyone else (though receiving calls from everyone who sold on Amazon would be hectic!).Happy to cease buying cases of water, and now looking for the best glass water bottle so I can always have with me.If you're debating on buying, definitely try it! And when you're rinsing a new filter before use (per instruction) don't forget to check the bottom of the filter and remove the clear sticker. ;-) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice filtering system *by R***N on Reviewed in the United States on April 14, 2016* I purchased this to see if I could get a higher PH on my filtered water. I tested the water with a meter, drops and PH strips. My base was 7 and it raised it to an 8. It was suggested to me that I should leave the filter in the filter holder shrough uspended in the filtered water for a while. I keep my filter stored in a large glass with a lid covered with filtered water. So, I tested the water that I keep the water stored in and there was no increase in the PH compared to the water I had just ran through the pitcher It was still an 8.It is a bit better than a comparable pitcher. It if fast, easy to use and easy to clean.
