The attachment fit my kitchenaid pro like a glove. The white non stick coating not only prevents a sticky mess, but looks good too. The attachment is easy to attach and detach. The weight of the attachment is what you would expect from a quality build. Unfortunately I did have to return the one I ordered as my mixer is a 5 - 6 Quart, which meant that due to the depth of the mixing bowl, the attachment did not reach all the way down. Be careful and read the specs, there was nothing wrong with the product, the return was due to buyer error. The fact is depending on how the mixing bowl is made, this attachment might very well work on a 5 quart.
