## Description

Restyled for 2014, the Weber Q 100 is now the Weber Q 1000. The grill has the same great performance and sleek styling, but adds new aesthetics that are both functional and fun, including larger grip handle and control knobs, ergonomic side handles, sturdy front and rear cradles plus the familiar Weber Q logo branded in the lid. Split grates allow for a grate/griddle cooking combination: Just replace one of the grates with the Q 1000-series compatible griddle (sold separately) and experience a delicious alternative way of preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner on your grill. Durable, but lightweight, cast-aluminum construction of the Weber Q 1000 makes this super-portable grill the perfect tailgating companion. Used on the go, it runs on disposable LP cylinders (not included), but can be a stationary a stay-at-home grill also. An optional LP adapter hose for hook up to a 20-lb. tank is available as an accessory. Reliable starts are assured with the simple-to-operate push-button ignition. Burgers, brats and dogs are easily handled, but a large variety of other foods may also be cooked at any temperatures from low to high. Just dial-in the proper heat setting by adjusting the infinite control burner valve. May be used with Weber Portable Cart model #6557.

Review: Super solid, rugged and long-lasting grill - great table top grill, easily cooks steak for four or five or five or six burgers at a time. heavy duty, two part steel grill, easy cleaning and clever drain design. Great value for $$$. Had these for years and never wanted any other one. Plenty of adjustable heat even in pretty cold weather.
Review: Great little grill. - We downsized to an apartment that has a small porch, and still wanted to be able to grill. This has worked out great. Big enough to grill a lot for two or a single meal for 4. Small enough that it fits on a small end table, and easily stores underneath it or in the kitchen pantry. We use the little camping propane canisters to keep things really small. We don't travel with it, but it would be fantastic as a tailgating grill. It is very light, most of the weight is well spent in the grill racks. I really like the porcelain coated cast iron. On our old charcoal grill (which we miss but do not have room to safely use) we loved the cast iron racks, and I was unsure about what the porcelain coating would be like. Definitely lower maintenance. I like it. This is my first gas grill in a long time, I am more used to charcoal. It does not get super hot, but hot enough. I don't think it would work for some of the open-lid high temp searing that I could do with the charcoal grill, but if I keep the lid closed it works for everything I have asked of it. It can take about 10 minutes to get up to temp. Q1000 vs Q1200 We were looking at the Q1000 and Q1200 models, and decided the Q1000 was a better bet for us. The three main differences that I could see were the fold out shelves, slight extra lid height, and thermometer on the Q1200 for $30 extra. I saw the Q1200 in a store and thought the shelves were so flimsy as to just be in the way. I would probably just take them off. The extra height seemed unnecessary, and if anything I thought would waste heat. And the thermometer..... well I really don't know what to think of thermometers that come on cheap grills. So we saved the $30 getting the Q1000, and then for $16 I bought the "Bayou Classic Grill Thermometer" https://www.desertcart.com/gp/product/B003VEG5SS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Bigger, much easier to read, and well reviewed. Plus, I was able to mount it down low closer to the grill surface. With a cordless drill it took 10 minutes to install. Drill a hole bolt it on... that simple. Testing it in boiling water is was within 2 degrees of accurate.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ outstanding cooking for everything
*by M***S on July 10, 2025*

outstanding grill. bought these based on other's reviews. we've had a couple of larger grills. it's now just the 2 of us. we use this on a patio table with an adapter for the large propane tank. it cooks everything with ease: large steaks with bones, pork, lamb, chops, chicken wings drumsticks breasts, vegetables, ... cooks evenly over the entire grill surface. we can easily and quickly barbecue for 4 people. it's extremely gas efficient. we grill 2-3 times/week for 2 months and have used a quarter tank of gas.
