The spice often referred as "king of spice", are picked when almost ripe and sun-dried, turning the outer layer black. The chemical piperine, which is present in black pepper, causes the spiciness. It is native to Kerala, the southern state of India.

Chloris Organic Spices is a product of Diana Far Away Exports. We source our spices from a registered charitable society and a secular voluntary organization consisting of tribal, women, small and marginal farmers in the southern part of India. 
We support them by recognizing their certified organic products globally and March towards "Global Sustainability through Organic Farming".
