To start, the pipe wall thickness is 1/16 of an inch, manderal bends are flawless. Unfortunately they are coated in oil (rust prevention) so they are a bit messy, wish they selected something different. Well packed and recieved a week earlier than expected. I have read the reviews and see a lot of complaints about rust. This is caused by not understanding what you are purchasing. This set is mild steel and not coated, so yes it will rust almost immediately after removing the oil. If you want rust free, purchase aluminized or stainless. I intend to build my exhaust and have it ceramic coated and truck will not see much rain thus my choice in pipe type. Just giving my onion, take it for what you wish. My pipe kit was DAC272, made in China (unfortunately), this kit has 3 inch id pipes and the slip joints are perfect, I will be cutting those off for my application. I recieved 2, 4 ft straight pipes. 2, u-bends roughly 6-1/2 inside and 12-1/2 to the outside of the "u". 2, 45° bends and 2, 90° bends. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. Hopefully I will be able to figure out how to update for final product. I hope you found this review helpful. Review: Works great - Worked great! Definitely recommend. Now we'll see how they last. ## Features - This Universal Custom Exhaust Kit Made of High Quality Mild Steel with Computerized Mandrel-Bends for Strength and Durability, 16-Gauge Piping Walls - 16-Gauge Piping Walls Of This Custom Exhaust Kit - 2 X 47.3" Straight Pipes, 2 X 90 Degree Pipes, 2 X 45 Degree Pipes, 2 X 180 Degree U-Bends, Detail Dimensions Please See Pictures. - Outsider Diameter: 3 Inch - Each 3" Smooth Mandrel Bent Tube Is Expanded On One End To Allow Easy Slip-fit Installation ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B088NH37HR | | Best Sellers Rank | #8,079 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #5 in Automotive Replacement Exhaust Pipes | | Brand | YOLANDO | | Brand Name | YOLANDO | | Color | Silver | | Compatible with Vehicle Type | Universal | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,496 Reviews | | Finish Type | Unpolished | | Included Components | 2 X 180 Degree U-Bends, 2 X 45 Degree Pipes, 2 X 47.3" Straight Pipes, 2 X 90 Degree Pipes | | Installation Type | Bolt-On | | Item Highlight | 16-Gauge Tubing, Mild Steel, 47.3" Straight Pipes, 180 Degree U-Bends, 45 and 90 Degree Mandrel Bends | | Item Type Name | 3 inch mild steel exhaust pipe | | Item Weight | 30 pounds | | Manufacturer | JY Performance | | Manufacturer Part Number | DAC272 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 1 year | | Material | Low Carbon Steel | | Material Type | Low Carbon Steel | | Shape | Round | | Tip Description | Mild Steel | | Unit Count | 1 Square Feet | | Vehicle Service Type | Universal | ## Product Details - **Brand:** YOLANDO - **Color:** Silver - **Material:** Low Carbon Steel - **Shape:** Round - **Vehicle Service Type:** Universal ## Images ![3'' Exhaust Kit - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61QHZzRHR7L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does this add horsepower** A: If you are increasing the diameter of you exhaust then it will add horsepower. Less restriction adds horsepower. **Q: Are these 3 inch pipings id or od?** A: 3” is the outside diameter. **Q: Will this kit fit a 64 lmpala with a 283 4 barrel** A: It's not a kit. It's a universal set of pipes. It'll fit anything if you know how to fabricate. **Q: Will the work on a 99 gmc Sierra extended cab with long tube headers** A: Yes but this kit requires cutting and welding. It gives you enough bends to get the exhaust out the sides at least and look very nice under the vehicle if you take your time. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for the price *by R***! on October 15, 2024* Well worth the money but please read this review.
