I filled it with lean ground hamburger and left it out in the sun for a few days until it was just right. I then resealed it within the original box and took it over to my ex-girlfriends. I left the box to her 'new friend' as she was on vacation with family. I guess he gave it to her as 'a gift from him' because when she got back because her facebook status was changed to 'single'. Rancid meat revenge! Jackpot. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars I would not suggest buying this. After researching lots ... *by S***D on Reviewed in the United States on August 12, 2014* I would not suggest buying this. After researching lots of items and seeing that a lot of cookie jars did have seals we decided on this one. Well low and behold this one does not have a seal either. You can not keep anything in this that you don't want to go stale in less than an hr. It is really cute and we do get a lot of complements but I am constantly looking to replace it because it just doesn't do the job we bought it for. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars not perfect, but pretty awesome *by C***T on Reviewed in the United States on January 22, 2015* I absolutely love this item, Its completely perfect for me (kinda wacky). I do have one issue with it, when you look closely you can see the paint strokes and streaks, its doesnt had a completely solid color. I'm totally willing to overlook this minor problem because i love love love the concept. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/21767348-kookie-jars-cookie-monster-cookie-jar-10-1-2-inch](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/21767348-kookie-jars-cookie-monster-cookie-jar-10-1-2-inch) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
