When you purchase the incense they come with a small piece of wood with a hole to hold the incense. Lite the incense outside of the cabin, once you have only an amber on the incense place it inside the cabin. I have been buying Paines products for 20 plus years and think they are great!! **Q: roof sticker thats hard to remove, is that the case with this cabin?** A: The sticker itself is NOT hard to remove, it's the sticky residue that adheres the sticker to the "Roof top" piece. The trick I used was this - Once the sticker is peeled off, don't rub the remaining residue with your finger, you'll simply rub in the glue and smear it into the wood grain. With sticker between thumb and forefinger, "Dab" the sticker onto the glue residue to pick up the glue onto the sticker until all the glue is removed. This little trick works with many stickers that leave a signature on the product .. just keep pressing down and pulling up, press down and pull up .. and repeat until all the sticker residue is up off the wood and onto the sticker! Moving it once lit will likely result in the incense log falling over, so light it where you want it. The smoke can be hard to see, but then again, if it were more prolific the fragrance would likely be overbearing. The pros: Cute Small profile Smells nice Love the look of the smoke from the chimney! Cons: Because it's so small it is difficult to place lit "logs" into the ring. It comes with "logs" instead of the advertised "cones". Logs frequently have to be lit multiple times as they will go out after about 5min. As you can see in the pictures, removing the tape and sticker remove part of the stain leaving clear marks across the roof.
