Also in some of info it says 4AA batteries but it’s one 9-volt battery** A: I came here to ask the same 2 questions. Air powered, and battery. I have one and it is 9 v battery and nothing in the manuals mentioned air powered. Only states both of these twice in Amazon. **Q: In what country are these made?** A: They are made in Malaysia. **Q: can this go in salt water? ive had issues with metal detectors not working right in the sea water for some reason.
