It's the perfect size not to big or to little its perfect.It definitely helps during recording ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great price for effective isolation shield - mounting screw is the weak link unfortunately *by J***G on April 1, 2021* This is an inexpensive yet effective isolation shield and I have already had several successful recording sessions with it. My only complaint is that the screw to attach this to your microphone stand is made of really cheap metal (like that "White metal" tin or zinc based stuff probably) and the cheap metal is so soft and weak that every time I screw it into and out of my mic stand, the threading degenerates leaving powdered metal behind and digging into the threads. I do not want to leave it on my mic stand for various reasons and so I have to take it off after use. I have only put in on and off about 6 times so far and am now worried that it will not hold anymore. It is too bad that the most important structural part of this whole thing is made of such cheap low quality material. They could have used a higher quality material for this once piece and it probably would have only cost a few cents more. A classic example of corner cutting and it is such a shame. The rest of it is great.
