It will fit on top, and there are mounts available to fit on the bottom. Without blocking the button or the vents. But do note that it puts the mini 2 over 250 grams and thus must be registered with the FAA in the United States **Q: How does it mount? I can’t find this in the manufacturer product information.** A: It came to me with 3 peices of 3M tape. One peice was strictly double sided for a permanent mount and the other two are hook and loop (velcro) so you can remove the light. The light can still be charged when mounted on the aircraft. **Q: Will these work on the older dji phantom series drones? if so where would you mount them?** A: Yes, I would think it would work. It has it's own self contained rechargeable battery. This is a anti-collision strobe and it should be mounted to the top of the drone. It is very bright, and comes with Velcro to allow you to mount it. **Q: are there mounts available for this?** A: Ha ha. Addressing another answer….
