This clip is plastic but, I would say yet, firm and, secure. It rotates 360 degrees. But, in general ... in my opinion, the clip is fine. **Q: Will this work with a Google 2 XL?** A: Not sure how big the Google 2 XL is. But my OnePlus 6t fits with extra room in it. **Q: My S21ultra otterbox defender pro case is 7"tall,3.5 wide is it a good fit not too tight?** A: Fit good but didn't last vary long.
