You give the pager to a person and you call them back in by the number allocated. They cannot page other users from the single unit . Only the main unit can communicate with each single unit . **Q: Can you buy the buzzers on their own as replacement?** A: Don’t know sorry . E mail the supplier see if they can help . **Q: Would it work to call students from my music teaching room all the way down 5 (or 6) floors to the basement?** A: I would be doubtfull that the range would be enough to do what your asking. We use ours for customers in a Shop waiting outside. The range for us is reliable at around 150 yards away going through 1 set of windows. I think sending the signal through multiple walls and floors may be an issue for you.
