Review: GREAT add-on! - I have another aftermarket head unit in a 2006 Cayenne. This adaptor restored the functionality of the steering wheel controls. Installation was quick and easy. Great functionality at a great price.
Review: Works for 2009 GL450 - Have a GL450 with optical sound and upgraded the radio to android 11 and this worked like a charm. IMPORTANT TIP: the ACC wire should be connected to the ACC wire output radio you’re installing NOT the car’s harness - for Mercedes at least… or you’ll drain the car battery overnight. Don’t ask me how I know that lol

Have a GL450 with optical sound and upgraded the radio to android 11 and this worked like a charm. IMPORTANT TIP: the ACC wire should be connected to the ACC wire output radio you’re installing NOT the car’s harness - for Mercedes at least… or you’ll drain the car battery overnight. No brainer simple install. You lose the functionality of the fader, balancer and equalizer… but who cares about all that. Sound quality is still pretty good. This is a good product for anyone looking to still retain their factory amplifier while using an aftermarket head unit in any Porsche 997.
