Review: Poor product - Magnetic tape is a good concept but very poor implementation for a product. Almost no magnetism.

## Features

- Magnet designed to hold on one side only, directly to flat, magnetic receptive steel surface. Multiple poles are spread evenly across its surface to reduce sliding. It is not recommended for use with other magnets
- Magnet holds up to 6 pounds per linear foot on contact with a flat, smooth and uncoated receptive steel surface. For best results, do not cut magnet shorter than 2 inches
- Magnet is not intended for use with a with a sheet of paper or other material between the magnet and the attracting surface
- The adhesive is on the non-magnetic side of the magnet, and is covered by peel-off liner. The adhesive is permanent, pressure-activated acrylic with initial tack. It requires a minimum of 24 hours to properly set

A: Yes, but please keep in mind that one side of the magnet is adhesive. Also the magnetic strength is very weak, which I guess would be ideal for your particular purpose. At either rate, I hope this information helps. Good luck!

**Q: Can I use this magnetic strip for automatic guided vehicle?**
A: Not likely. This hardly holds up laminated paper on a white board.

**Q: Would this be good to replace a magnet that came off a lightweight handbag?  One of the magnet is still on the bag, I need one to glue on the flap**
A: Definitely NOT.  This so-called roll-n-cut is unwieldy and incredibly weak; it won't even hold a sheet of computer paper to the fridge.  You'd be better off with a neodyne round magnet or something in that like.  This stuff is more like the light-weight magnet you find in the craft section for turning your photos into fridge magnets.

**Q: Will this adhesive take the finish off wood when applied and removed?**
A: Hi Ralph,  Depends on the finish. Polyurethane is quite durable and should be fine, other stains and varnishes may not fare as well.
