Review: Cats are OBSESSED - I have 2 kittens who are OBSESSED with these. At this point the company could sponsor us because I buy a 3 pack of these pretty much weekly for them. They must feel like real mice. The kittens growl (playful) when they have them. The downside is that they end up wanting to eat them because they’re “prey”, so I do have to only let them have supervised play time. I eventually have to throw these away after about a week because they chew them to pieces.

**Q: Trying to understand why this costs over $7 via Prime, and complete mouse+wand costs $5 via Prime. Is the replacement better quality than original?**
A: I have asked the same question.  I have about 15 empty wands.  The replacement mice cost more.  Go figure.  But, it's still cheaper than the local Petco, which sells the wand/mouse for $9.99.

**Q: Do these have the same Go Cat metal carabiner-style connector clip, or do they have to be tied on with that little string?**
A: These are bulk bees from Go Cat (maker of the Da Bee) so are the same that are used on the Da Bee. They use the braided string not metal.

**Q: how do they attach to wand?**
A: There is a loop of sturdy thread on the tip of the "nose", and you just slide that on the metal clip on the end og the original Da Bird wand.

**Q: How many mice are included in this package?**
A: Just one -

One of my cats gets hyper fixated on birds and small animals that he sees from his window perches. I feel bad at his frustration that he can’t physically go outside to hunt. He has lots of toys and we play with him throughout the day but these little “mice” have been amazing! He seems to get real satisfaction from “killing” them and they’ve been a great addition to his routines. The only bad part is that they shed quite a bit. But he gets so much enjoyment from them that I don’t care and it’s easily handled with a lint brush.
