Perfect fit. ### ⭐ Battery incompatible with Canon SD500 E18 failure code *by N***Y on October 13, 2016* Battery arrived in fully discharged condition, less than 10%. It is a "Power2000" brand Battery with a higher 900mAh capacity. Unfortunately it has compatibility problems with my Canon SD500. After charging it worked temporarily in my camera only to fail with an error code E18. "E18" represents "lens problem" or a battery that is not compatible. Removing and re-installing the battery, the camera worked again for a couple of photos, but when trying to turn off the camera it failed again. Removing the battery several times I was able to take photos, with additional E18 Code failures. With repeat removal of the battery, it works for the moment. I recharged and will try Camera today...If there success or problems I will update again.
