I wouldn't trust the plastic's strength to hold against a good tug, or repeated insertion/removal of plugs from the uppermost sockets, but it should be strong enough to stop it moving around a desk. **Q: Would this support the iPad Pro?** A: Yes it does indeed support the iPad Pro. This tower extension cable looks great next to the appliances on the shelf.It is made of good plastic; the stand has rubberized elements so that it stands securely on any surface. There are nine sockets available, which is very convenient. You can connect a large number of electrical equipment, but if this is not enough :) there are also four usb and you can easily recharge the phone. Also on the towers there is an emergency power off button. Absolutely brilliant for me with the ability to serve my needs know and for the future. I usually use mine too charge my phone, tablet and power my audio system and TV room lamp. And I also like the built in circuit breaker built into the unit itself for over load safety " it will shut down if over loaded" . But always be safe and careful not to over load the unit ! . Other likes are because it's stacked and not a strip plug it takes up less space so can be placed in a position of your choice, instead of the stripe plug you have to find room for it to be placed.
