My first grinder was barely doing its job by the time the bottle was empty. Looks good my current bottle will make it to the finish line. I'm glad the tops are removable. If not for cleaning the last one, I definitely would have lost some of the salt. For that reason I wouldn't count on these grinders handling refills. Does that mean I should look for another Celtic Brand with Iodide?** A: Americans don't know much about iodine. Being originally from another country and living in the US, mine and my partners recent blood test shows that we both have iodine deficiency and none of our family members who live in another country and use salt iodide don't have it. I read someone even saying that "iodine can get you thyroid decease". Eventually no one is aware of how dangerous to be iodide deficient. Just get a salt with iodide such as Kalas or Morton, and get magnesium from somewhere else or look for celtic salt with iodide. **Q: Still between Celtic and Himalayan--mostly for health reasons and healing digestion. Any suggestions between these?** A: I tried Himalayan salt, and found it had a lot of grit in it, which bothered my teeth tremendously.
