Not sure what the previous customers who left bad reviews went through.The metal replacement fit bang on. The holes were in the right place and I compression tested the joint and it was sealed air tight.The inserts to plug the coolant pipes were high quality and a very secure. I put the upper plug on the lower pipe by mistake and it was difficult to pull it back off, which is obviously a good thing. That was before I even tightened the clamps.Overall, more than happy with this product!If you're thinking of doing an egr delete, I highly recommend it, I'm getting much better mpg and throttle response is way quicker. Not to mention my engine will stay clean now.
