Great size for a sourdough starter, the smooth sides make it easy to clean.

If like me you want a perfect container for your sour dough starter then look no further. Several recipes state loose fitting lid and glass container. Well this is that. It fits in a standard fridge shelf and feels very sturdy. I could also use this for other things also. It is exactly as shown in the picture.

Bought it for my starter and it’s perfect. Doesn’t take up too much room in the fridge and easy to see it ‘grow’.

I previously used a Kilner jar, which although great quality, was difficult to use for sourdough du to the narrowing opening. The Weck jar is so much easier to use and keep clean.
