It's got a lot of pages, most of which weren't useful to me- I could tell that just by looking in the list of contents. BUT, the parts that ARE, are all things I would never have thought of- things I really needed to know. For instance, did you know that Charles Schultz, the creator of the Peanuts comic strip, got something like 5% of the income from his comics and his merchandise, and all the rest went to the syndicate that represented him? And he was famous all around the world, so how much do you think they'd give you? And there's great advice about contracts, really important advice, and potential markets for your work. It clearly explains why you should price your art and time the way it recommends (aka your work and time is worth the money), different pricing factors to consider, things to consider when negotiating with clients, proposal and contract design, and so much more. I'm not sure if it's just due to my absent-mindedness, but I just didn't expect this to go into such detail. I just assumed that this would just be a reference that I can use as a starting point for pricing my work.
