Review: Perfect “low tech” alternative - My son absolutely loves this device. We wanted an updated version of the “game boy” without internet access. He particularly enjoys playing Mario in the car during road trips. The screen size is just right, and the device is slim enough to easily fit in his pocket. The screen is bright and easy to see, and the sound can be adjusted to suit his preferences. We tried a couple of cheaper versions, but they kept breaking after just a few days or weeks (we tried three). We considered getting the Nintendo Switch, but it was more expensive and complicated than we were looking for at the time. This device is perfect for an adult (my husband) who wants to relive his childhood gaming days, or for kids who need something simple and low-tech. We’re likely to buy a slightly different version for our daughter’s upcoming birthday. I wish it was a bit less expensive considering it only has a couple games offered, but the quality seems to be worth it. He’s been playing two months now with now problems. The rechargeable battery life is excellent and lasts through a long car ride. Review: Game clock - Super awesome works well ## Features - Get your hands on a new piece of Super Mario history with a collectible Game & Watch system - Play the whole Super Mario Bros. Game and save the Mushroom Kingdom - Challenge yourself by taking on Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels - Watch out for Super Mario inspired surprises as time changes in the included digital clock - Juggle Super Mario Bros. Style in a Mario version of Game & Watch: Ball ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08HB9TCVG | | Batteries | 1 CR123A batteries required. It is a self contained unit **Q: Why are you charging twice the real price for this?** A: The MRSP is $49.99 and honestly, it is not even worth a cent more. It is a gimmick and unless you’re a Nintendo collector, these games can easily be emulated on alternative retro handheld consoles that are already available on Amazon.com for much less. If you’re still keen on getting this, I suggest you be patient and keep a close tab on this placeholder page because Amazon.com will continue to sell these at MRSP in short bursts until 31 March 2021 - while supplies last of course. In fact at the time of writing this post, Amazon.com is selling them at MRSP. You can also keep tabs on Amazon Global Store such as the UK, Europe, etc. as they are also selling them in multiple waves at MRSP and even when you factor in international shipping rates, it is STILL CHEAPER than what other sellers are providing here in the US for. Don’t be cornered by these scalpers and accept their aftermarket prices! **Q: Are pre-orders already gone, or will price and stock be revealed closer to 11/13?** A: While it looks like US stock is gone, Amazon UK still has them in stock. You can search in Amazon US and find them (under Super Nintendo for some reason). Shipping is more (~$13) but it's still covered by Amazon US warranty. Please avoid the scalpers already asking $120 :( **Q: Can you save your game** A: You can hold down A and get infinity lives. Then “pause” to save your progress. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect “low tech” alternative *by A***R on May 14, 2026* My son absolutely loves this device. My children are five years and eight years old. The graphics are excellent. Definitely brings you back to the 90s love this so they can play in the car with no access to YouTube or anything else. Battery lasts pretty . Made by Nintendo. Nice size to travel with stop thinking about it and buy it make your kid happy and yourself happy so the kids stop going on YouTube. ## Frequently Bought Together - Nintendo Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros. - Not Machine Specific - Aenllosi Storage Organizer Hard Case Compatible with Nintendo Game & Watch (for Super Mario Bros) - Game & Watch: The Legend of Zelda --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/228480319-nintendo-game-and-watch-super-mario-bros-not-machine-specific](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/228480319-nintendo-game-and-watch-super-mario-bros-not-machine-specific) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
