(in this simplified scenario) Max Output power = 12v *max output current of your power supply @12v For example, If you had a power bank with a PD rating that says 12v,2a max, then your max power would be 24watts (24w= 12v*2a) You then need to check this exceeds the power requirement of your device, the device product manual or label should make the input requirement clear. **Q: You should be ashamed for going from $29.00 to $40.00!!!? I've found better quality product that does exactly the same thing for half the price.** A: Ashamed is a powerful word. Have had experience of similar devices where they don't necessary communicate voltage requirement if switch on power supply with lead/adaptor already connected - needed to unplug PD cable/adaptor and reconnect. However, this cable manages that negotiation successfully in the kind of scenario. Expensive cable, though, and for me would be better if DC connector was not right angle.
