Review: Original part and high quality - A direct replacement and typical Insinkerator high quality. I replace the mounting flange when I had my countertop replaced with a new sink. The flange worked great - can't say the same for the offbrand drain guard I bought. This mounting flange is highly recommended.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ made my old garbage disposal look new

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works and doesn’t fall apart, unlike others.
*by B***A on February 3, 2026*

Buy this genuine Insinkerator flange, it works perfectly. I bought two other ‘off-brands’ first that seemed OK until I tightened the screws that force the under plate against the underside of the sink, but then the circular retaining clip popped off and the whole assembly fell apart. This insinkerator flange is made of thicker steel but most importantly, it has a subtle improvement over the knock-off brands - the underplate has several small ‘pimples’ that stick out and grip the retaining ring so it can’t pop out once the screws are tightened. I’m happy with this product! A small disadvantage - it doesn’t come with the rubber splash guard or the rubber cushion that goes between the flange and the disposal unit, but those aren’t expensive, you just have to buy them separately.
