Not to pick and not to small. It was exactly as pictured and was super easy to put together. Definitely remember to blow the balloons up small. They say I think 5-6 inches and they have like a measuring thing on the directions but I did then 3-4 inches and they fit better in the box. Some people said they had trouble getting the paper off the letters to stick it to the box and I did notice it was a bit difficult but nothing crazy.
