I don't remember what happened to the copy I had, but for a long time now I have wished to own a copy and enjoy this wondrous book all over again. The enchanting story, the incredible illustrations, truly do remind me of the works of J. R. R. Tolkien. I understand the saga of the secret island of humans and intelligent dinosaurs has been continued in a series of sequels, which I will probably acquire and read, too. The copy I purchased is hardback, a 20th anniversary Calla edition in like-new condition--a real work of art--and sold to me by the Friends of the Mountain View Public Library, a non-profit. Their service is excellent--the book arrived carefully packaged and arrived sooner than I expected.
