It charges up to four batteries and the controller simultaneously, and it communicates with each battery and each batterie's internal cells to make sure that each cell in each battery is properly balanced for the best possible flight duration. I am averaging more than 29 minutes of flight time per charged battery, and I actually achieved almost 40 minutes in a hover at 245' AGL, recording lightening strikes in a distant super cell thunder storm, awesome! In addition it also can be used in reverse to properly discharge batteries and each cell in a balanced fashion for long term battery storage. I have not had any errors of any kind when charging the batteries and/or controller. Understand this is not a fast charger because it is charging all the batteries slowly and properly like it should which will extend the life of each battery. What I do is I fly by day, and let the charger do its thing and charge everything perfectly over night. It also has a nice display on top that lets you know what the charger is doing as it is doing it with each battery and each cell, as well as the current battery level voltage for each battery and cell.
