I covered the plastic with insulation tape and it was still sparking (but less) because the bottome of the relay terminal was exposed. I put 3 coats of this and it stopped sparking completely. Had to apply it with a Qtip - the brush is too huge for small areas where u want to avoid other terminals. May require multiple applications to build up the desired thickness allowing dry time between applications. Will this prevent the elements from getting inside the car?** A: You want to use a cable grommet, if you buy one thats already has a hole make sure it just a little smaller than the wire/cable you are using so it gets a good seal. You can buy them that doesn't already have a hole, again make sure that when you put a hole in it that its a little smaller than the wire.
