Love these little gadgets!!! Extra-large eggs 6 mins, will use 5.5 mins next time. Coconut oil brushed inside pods, plopped in an extra-large egg, placed in simmering water, covered the pan, set timer; topped with pepper and some Parmesan cheese. I bought the gadget to lift them out because my hands are not so steady around hot liquid LOL! It works great.Aug 28, '19 ADD: Used these several more times. They make poaching an egg incredibly easy. They're adorable! And I can't wait to use them to make other treats. To get a good release, I spray the inside with oil first (I happen to use coconut, but I'm sure any oil spray will work), then run a knife along the edge before flipping the pod out to release the egg. I will also note that the darker opaque pod cooks slower than the lighter pod.
