I used the second supplied alcohol pad to clean the suction cups, and when I applied them there was absolutely no possibility of "plucking" them off the wall. I could slide them around, but I'd have to get a flat blade to slide under them to break the suction. The shower caddy is now firmly held in place with these suction cups.

I soaked these in hot tap water while I used one of the supplied alcohol pads to clean the shower wall surface. I used the second supplied alcohol pad to clean the suction cups, and when I applied them there was absolutely no possibility of "plucking" them off the wall. I could slide them around, but I'd have to get a flat blade to slide under them to break the suction. The shower caddy is now firmly held in place with these suction cups.
