Review: Excellent add-on UV sterilization for whole house water filtration! - I bought the iSpring UV sterilizer to add to my iSpring whole house water filtration system, a WGB32BM 3-stage system. The installation of the UV sterilizer is pretty straightforward. I used 1" Pex-B with clamp style fittings, to match the 1" of the filter system. The system is exactly what I was looking for and performs as expected. As shipped by desertcart via FedEx, the UV bulb arrived shattered, and the damaged package was also missing the o-rings, but the rest of the system was ok, and I did not want to return the whole system. Luckily, desertcart was able to issue a partial refund for just the value of a replacement UV bulb. I ordered a replacement bulb and it arrived within a few days, this time undamaged. I also emailed Nick at iSpring customer service about the missing o-rings, and he immediately responded by email and shipped out a replacement set of o-rings which arrived very quickly via USPS. I call that very prompt and excellent customer service! A few more notes on the system: it has a smart controller with the bulb ballast integrated. This controller connects to the UV bulb, to the AC power, and also to the flow switch to turn the UV bulb on as soon as water flows. This is indicated by a green LED. When flow stops, the controller keeps the UV bulb on for another 5 min (300 sec) to avoid excessive bulb power-ons, which would reduce bulb life. After 300 sec, the bulb is turned off and this is actually shown via a 3-digit LED count-down on the controller, a nice feature! If within 300 sec the water flow is turned back on, the counter is reset to 300 sec. Overall, I really like this flow-through water sterilization system. It has a very high build quality, and is easy to install, and works in a fully automated, worry-free way. I would highly recommend this as an add-on to any home/whole house water filtration system.
Review: Take Your Time On The Install - Here is my install, it took me about 4-6 hours to install. I leaked tested the unit overnight and I had no problems with the unit. Theres a couple of things to keep in mind when installing, 1. I would encourage you to have a GFCI or something similar when plugging the unit in, water and electricity is really close in relationship with this unit. 2. When installing the Quartz tube be sure not to install the Oring too high on the tube because doing so will bottom out the tube on the stainless cap while snugging up the cap, could lead to a broken tube. 3. I installed a filter after the unit just in case there is any glass breakage, the filter will catch the glass shards instead of going up into the house with the water supply. 4. I would order and have on hand extra supplies such as Orings and Quartz Tubes as well as an extra UV light bulb. I plan on using new Orings while cleaning the Quartz Tube as needed to minimize the chance of leaks. Like I said I have just installed the unit and will report back in a few months after use, I plan on having no issues because the unit as a whole seems to be of excellent quality. The Quartz Tube and UV light parts were packed with a very good foam outer layer and cardboard sleeves for the parts. Instructions are pretty straight forward. So far Customer service has been excellent via email because I just can't find time to call and speak with CS. George Update....here it is 5/16/2025 and the unit is working flawlessly. I'm so glad that I purchased this unit when I did it made an excellent addition to my filtration system. George

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent add-on UV sterilization for whole house water filtration!

I bought the iSpring UV sterilizer to add to my iSpring whole house water filtration system, a WGB32BM 3-stage system. The installation of the UV sterilizer is pretty straightforward. I used 1" Pex-B with clamp style fittings, to match the 1" of the filter system. The system is exactly what I was looking for and performs as expected. As shipped by amazon via FedEx, the UV bulb arrived shattered, and the damaged package was also missing the o-rings, but the rest of the system was ok, and I did not want to return the whole system. Luckily, amazon was able to issue a partial refund for just the value of a replacement UV bulb. I ordered a replacement bulb and it arrived within a few days, this time undamaged. I also emailed Nick at iSpring customer service about the missing o-rings, and he immediately responded by email and shipped out a replacement set of o-rings which arrived very quickly via USPS. I call that very prompt and excellent customer service! A few more notes on the system: it has a smart controller with the bulb ballast integrated. This controller connects to the UV bulb, to the AC power, and also to the flow switch to turn the UV bulb on as soon as water flows. This is indicated by a green LED.
