**Q: If this is in a situation where we would not want it to default to unlocked in a power outage situation, can that be disabled?**
A: When I unplug my setup with 3 doors they instantly unlock. It is pre wired for a backup battery, when the power goes out it will still function as normal. It’s a great setup and works flawlessly.

A: At least 10 feet probably farther but it's gonna depend on the type of material you're trying to transmit through

**Q: Is there a Bluetooth access control unit?**
A: This unit does not have Bluetooth capability. An external controller with Bluetooth may be available but our application didn’t require it so we didn’t investigate the possibility

Item worked great for a little while then all of a sudden wouldn't unlock. So I replaced with a new one and only lasted 2 weeks then same thing. But I also installed 1 at another location that is still working so I guess it's the luck of the draw.
