Review: Works well - Excellent tool- easy to use
Review: Solid Network Cable Termination Tool - I have punched down a lot of network cables manually and this has been by far the easiest tool to use to terminate network cables and it's solid. It still requires the same work, but in the end it punches all 8 wires at once. From experience, anytime I have ever punched down keystone jacks manually, if you did so much as breathing on it the wrong way, a wire comes loose. The same after testing and simply pushing it back into the wall. With this tool, I can push, twist, pull it by the wire, pop it into a quick port, remove it, pop it again and it has not once came loose. Since I started using this tool, they have tested good 100% of the time. I ended up wiring one wrong and I can confirm that the wires are punched down solid and it was very difficult to pull the wires from the jack. I thought I was going to have to give up and toss it. Super solid. I would definitely recommend this tool. A bit of advice to anyone purchasing this tool. Do not use network cable with the super thin pairs of wires. Make sure you spend a little more or else this may not be the right termination tool for you. Also, if you are like me and you like to put the cable jacket halfway into the jack, don't do that on these. There isn't a lot of room so you crush the wires. I'm sure it would still work, but it will most likely cause problems down the road. One last item is that the plastic cover you pop onto the jack, don't freak out because it is NOT designed to be fully seated onto the jack. I sat there for about 10 minutes trying to figure it out why it wasn't seated down all the way. I am not personally a fan of this design, but it still works. CON: They designed this in a way that requires you to purchase their proprietary keystone jacks if you want to continue using this tool. It's not a universal fit to match basically every other keystone jacks out there. I tried other keystone jacks I had laying around and can confirm this. I don't have every keystone jack ever made so I can't say this is correct 100% across the board, but I'm 99.9% sure this is the case.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: is this only compatible with Everest keystones? has anyone tried it with Cable Matters keystones?**
A: These works with Everest brand only, soon we will have more colors keystones to offer.

**Q: Will these work with on 23 AWG solid bare copper wire?**
A: If rated for Cat 5e and 6 than yes

**Q: Why is this listed as #1 in "dental articulators?!!?"**
A: I have no idea. It may have been a joke by whom ever listed it that way.

**Q: Am i missing something or are the keystone labels all incorrect? how can t56a and t56b wiring be the same?**
A: Hello Nick. I noticed the negative review you left regarding the same issue (for the keystones). The color codes for both T568A and T568B are correct. The blue wire is placed 4 and 5 on both T568A and T568B.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So easy to use, it's almost unfair.
*by T***E on February 15, 2022*

I've keystoned a fair amount of cabling over the years, somewhere over 2,000 terminations. I bought this crimp tool, along with EMS's RJ45 jacks in bulk, for my own remodel. Wish I'd found these years ago. There's a very mild learning curve and it's important to get the tension set properly. Once you're there, this is an amazing tool. No more pucks to deal with to keep dents off drywall. No more bang-bang-bang impact tool to mash a hole in your finger when your hands get tired or sweaty and a keystone rolls out from under the impact tool. None of that. A couple of hours to terminate 30 cables at both ends (I don't claim to be fast), everything was muscle memory by the 4th or 5th keystone. Push wire into one side of the keystone, turn the cable into its valley, push 4 more in, check, set the keystone in the crimper, one squeeze and you're done; the tool seats and cleaves in one go. Perfect terminations, 60 for 60, all confirmed by my Fluke CIQ. Happy times, next task. The system isn't cheap. It's also not cheaply made. The crimper has good hand feel and its padded case has real rather than living hinges and closures. Can't speak to its long term durability or how long its blades stay viably sharp after one small project, but I'm relegating my Fluke crimper, impact tool and puck (if I can find it) to a dusty, disused corner of the tool cabinet. VERY well done, EMS!
