Reason for buying a new protective case is the rubber part of the otter box from usage just cracked and fell apart. The piece that protects the charge port was the first to go, then one of the volume buttons, then finally the power button. At that point I had to turn on/off, lower the volume w/my nail through the case bracket hole. Time for a new case.
