## Description

The MagSafe Charger makes wireless charging a snap. The perfectly aligned magnets attach to your AirPods, iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro.

Review: Expensive, but hey, it's Apple - It just works - Okay, let's talk about the Apple MagSafe Charger, the wireless charger that promises to make charging a snap. And by "snap," they mean it. I'm not sure if you've ever felt the sheer satisfaction of magnets perfectly aligning, but let me tell you, it's a moment of pure magic. If you've got an iPhone 12 or later, this charger will attach with precision and provide faster wireless charging at up to 15W. Now that's some serious charging power! But wait, there's more! The MagSafe Charger also maintains compatibility with Qi charging. So, if you're still rocking an iPhone 8 or later, or if you have AirPods with a wireless charging case, you can join in on the wireless charging fun too. It's like a big wireless charging party that even older iPhones and AirPods can be a part of. Now, here's the catch. The magnetic alignment experience only applies to iPhone 12, iPhone 13, iPhone 14, and iPhone 15. Sorry, folks, if you've got any other iPhone model, the magnetic magic is not for you. You'll have to settle for regular wireless charging without the enchanting snap. Let's not forget about the USB-C integrated cable that comes with the charger. Apple always knows how to keep things sleek and minimal, even with their cables. You get a 1-meter cable, which is just enough to keep things convenient without adding unnecessary clutter. But wait, hold your horses! Before you get too excited about this wireless charging dream, you need to know that the Apple MagSafe Charger does not come with the Apple 20W USB-C Power Adapter. Nope, that's sold separately. Remember, this is Apple we're talking about. They're not giving away charger adapters for free. So, make sure you have the right adapter to power up this wireless charging wonder. Now, let's break it down into pros and cons, because every review needs a little list: Pros: - Perfectly aligned magnets for a satisfying charging experience - Faster wireless charging up to 15W for iPhone 12 and later models - Compatible with Qi charging for older iPhones and AirPods with wireless charging case - Sleek and minimal design with an integrated USB-C cable - Apple quality and reliability (you know it's going to last) Cons: - Magnetic alignment experience only applies to specific iPhone models - Expensive, because it's Apple (and the adapter is sold separately) In conclusion, the Apple MagSafe Charger is a wireless charging solution that delivers that satisfying magnetic snap for iPhone 12 and later models. It's sleek, convenient, and provides faster charging speeds. However, the price tag might give you some pause, especially knowing that you'll need to purchase the Apple 20W USB-C Power Adapter separately. If you're an Apple aficionado and insist on having the latest and greatest, then this charger is for you. But if you're looking for a more affordable option that works with a wider range of devices, you might want to explore other wireless charging alternatives. The choice is yours, my friend, may you find charging bliss in whichever path you choose.
Review: Obviously one of the best - I have this mounted into a display stand and I’ve never been led astray. My only complaint is, like everyone, the length of the cord. The MagSafe holds the phone in place, but if you are using it to charge your headphones it acts more like a charging pad, with very little grip. I don’t use it much nowadays for charging, but it was my powerhorse as my bedside charging back then. It works for overnight charging for sure, with little experience with fast charging. Would I recommend it? Yes, but with the obvious caveat that there is a better option out there in the MagSafe charger with the longer cord. It is on the pricey side, but it’s a one time purchase really, so that doesn’t bother me.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How does it compare to the apple MagSafe charger?**
A: I'm pretty sure this is a genuine Apple product. I purchased this item here on Amazon, the product title includes a link to "Visit the Apple Store" and this charger came in Apple packaging. It does get the warmer than a standard charger. As Apple Support states: As with other wireless chargers, your iPhone or MagSafe Charger might get slightly warmer while your iPhone charges. They also state that the software may limit charging at 80% if it gets too warm to protect the life of the battery.

**Q: Does this charge with otter box commuter series case? It’s basically plastic**
A: I tried 3 different cases and IT DID NOT CHARGE!
Otter box, pelican, & Gviewin. Apparently you need to purchase a mag safe ring, which this seller does not mention which makes this useless without the MagSafe ring. Tried charging Iphone 13, 13 pro & 14 pro. The only way I was able to charge my phones was by removing the cases which defeats the purpose.

**Q: How do you connect your phone to wireless charger?**
A: Just plug in the charger, put the pad part down on a flat surface like a desk or table, and place the phone (screen facing up) on top of it. If it's a MagSafe phone (12+ or with a compatible case on older models) it'll magnetically lock into place; otherwise it'll just rest on top of the pad. Either way it should begin charging, if not you probably either 1. have too thick of a case on the phone, 2. forgot to plug in the charger, or 3. have an old model iPhone that doesn't support wireless charging in the first place (it was added with iPhone 8).

**Q: Can you use the mag charger (and charging) and have an a microphone plugged into the lightning port while vlogging?**
A: Yes. This will attach to the back of the phone and charge as long as it’s connected. You can do whatever else you want on your phone simultaneously, including using lightning port accessories.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent MagSafe Charger - Fast, Convenient, and Reliable!
*by P***Y on July 13, 2024*

recently purchased the MagSafe charger, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in every way. Here are some key points that make this charger a standout: Fast Charging: The MagSafe charger provides incredibly fast charging speeds for my iPhone. It significantly reduces the time I need to get a full charge compared to my previous wireless chargers. Strong Magnetic Connection: The magnetic alignment is precise and strong. My phone snaps into place instantly, ensuring a secure connection every time. This feature is especially useful when I’m in a hurry or need to charge my phone without fumbling around. Sleek and Compact Design: The charger’s design is sleek and minimalistic, which complements the aesthetics of my desk. Its compact size makes it easy to carry around, making it a perfect travel companion. Durability: The build quality is excellent. It feels sturdy and well-made, with no signs of wear and tear after several weeks of use. I’m confident it will last a long time. Compatibility: It works seamlessly with my iPhone 12, and I’ve also used it with a friend’s iPhone 13 without any issues. The MagSafe technology ensures optimal charging performance across compatible devices. Versatility: Apart from charging my phone, I also use it for my AirPods Pro, which is a great added convenience. It simplifies my charging routine by allowing multiple devices to charge with one charger. Cons: The only downside I’ve noticed is that it tends to get a bit warm during charging, but it hasn’t affected its performance in any way. Overall, I highly recommend the MagSafe charger to anyone looking for a reliable, fast, and convenient charging solution for their Apple devices. It’s a bit on the pricier side, but the quality and performance make it well worth the investment.
